After a fair bit of research and talking to 5 other buyers agents, we decided to visit the Sunshine Coast and meet a few of the agents in person before we decided who we wanted to go with.We found Guy to be professional, attentive and able to talk to the areas that best suited our requirements and would be within our budget.As we are not familiar with the area, Guy was able to recommend areas for us to visit based on what we wanted. He listened to what we wanted, unlike other agents who decided to interpret our requirements and try to get us to change them. Guy said it was a tough ask, but was willing to work with our budget instead of having to increase our budget substantially even before we started looking.Once we started looking, we signed a contract with Sunshine Coast Buyers agency on a Thursday. The next day (Friday) we spoke with Guy who clarified some of the stuff we had put down in terms of requirements, and he gave us a few properties to consider. One of them ticked all the boxes. And on Saturday, he went out to do the inspection, sent us lots of photos and videos and we had an offer in that afternoon that was then negotiated and accepted a few hours later. We thought the process would take a few weeks/ months.. But it was done in 3 days!Being in Melbourne, Guy was truly our eyes and ears on the ground. Guy went well beyond his scope to get detailed videos of the journey to the property and multiple videos inside the property. Family with young kids, we sold our house in Sydney and were then left with the daunting decision of whether to move to SC and rent first. Can I be bothered to move twice, can I afford to put my contents in storage whilst I look for the right house, do I really want to pay off some-one else’s mortgage, we have a pet, not a lot of rentals accepting pets, vacancy rates at a record low as well, I don’t have the time to be flying to SC to attend house viewings. Decisions, decisions, decisions.Well the best decision we ever made for our interstate move was choosing SCBA.
